My favorite way is just to cook up the thinniest spaghetti you can find....drain and add some butter,,salt, pepper....and a freshed chopped tomato....this is just so good,,you don't need fancy....add some fresh garlic bread,,,
Makes 4 servings

Pasta brimming with the freshest ingrediants and flavor!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp of EVOO

1 cup of white wine

1 Barilla Plus Rotini Pasta

1 whole heirloom tomato

1 sweet red pepper

1 medium vidalia onion

2 cups frozen peas

2 shallots

2 minced cloves of garlic

1 cup of diced fennel

1/2 cup of diced fontina cheese

1 handful of fresh herbs rosemary, basil, and parsley diced to sprinkle on top

Directions:

Heat up saute pan with EVOO, garlic, and shallots. Saute the fresh veggies-adding peas and tomatoes last (they cook the fastest) in EVOO/garlic mixture until tender. Boil pasta until al dente. Add 1 cup of white wine and cover for 5 or so mins. to cook off extra liquid. Add pasta into saute pan and mix in the fontina cheese. Sprinkle with diced fresh herbs. Voila!
Pasta is so versatile. You can use any type of noodle, any type of meat, and any type of sauce. Add some stir fry veggies and presto, simple, easy, and cheap.

I make some kind of pasta at least once a week. Spaghetti, some times with gr. chuck, sometimes with pork sausage. Maybe chicken alfredo with mushrooms or some sausage and spinach filled ravioli with spaghetti sauce, angel hair pasta with vodka sauce and mushrooms and peppers.
Lazy linguini if it's just for lunch. Linguini, creamy Italian dressing, and a little parmesean cheese. Mix it together. Voila!
I really enjoy pesto based sauces on pasta. Of course, I use funny shaped noodles because they are more fun to eat... call me crazy. Anyway, pesto is basically a basil based sauce. I combine in a blender...

--a bunch of basil (chopped, paste, or just a bunch of the actual sprigs) into a blender.

--walnuts if you like nuts. I like the texture, and the nuttiness it gives it, but you can barely taste them

--olive oil (I prefer extra virgin olive oil, but to each his/her own)

--garlic (again, I like a lot, but add what you like...)

Amounts vary with the texture you like... experiment.

VOILA.

Not only is this a great dish on its own, but if you add chicken or sun dried tomatoes to it.... OH MY GOSH! YUMMY! I also love the pesto sauce on pizza instead of tomato sauce...
Cheff Boyardee!!!!!!!!!!!!!=D
boil some noodles then stirfry some stuff..put it all together. it is really tasty.

Best and most simple is Spaghetti alio olio. Basically means spaghetti with extra virgin olive oil and garlic- fry thes up in a pan with some chilli flakes and a touch of white wine and a good dash of salt. This is the pasta dressing! Its delicious...
