Quick and Easy Pasta recipes?

I love pasta, but I always cook the same two dishes... Spaghetti with Italian Sausage, and the following recipe.

Quick and Easy tomato/basil pasta with sausage.

1 pack bowtie pasta

1 large can (drained) diced tomatoes

1 package ground Italian sausage

1 8 ounce container 1/2 and 1/2

fresh basil

boil noodles, Brown sausage, add tomatoes, and cream. Pour in pasta and stir to combine.Add freshly torn basil on top. Let thicken 10 minute.

I'm looking for something new to try, preferably with tomatoes rather than white sauce. Any suggestions?Quick and Easy Pasta recipes?

I often use ground turkey in my tomato sauce for spaghetti or other shape of noodle. You could also make meatballs with tomato sauce.

I like to use different shapes of pasta to vary things a little.
try foodnetwork.com and look under pastas - or type in pasta when prompted.
I am not italian but we love to eat at least one pasta dish per week. I work alot of hours so Ziti is a simpler dish than lasagna to make.

You can make the same sauce but add garlic, diced green pepper, one small diced onion and italian seasoning to your sauce. I also add browned ground turkey as well. About a pound. My mother always used the diced tomatoes, 2 cans of tomato sauce and 2tbs of tomato paste to make her sauce. She let her sauce simmer all day. I try to let it simmer at least 30 minutes.

You need a small bag of shredded mozzarella (8 oz) and a small container of ricotta cheese. Shredded cheese is about the same price as the one you need to shred yourself. Cook and drain a medium box of ziti noodles, (we use whole wheat penne noodles also). Layer ending with the last layer being cheese. Make two, cover the second one well and freeze to make later, even up to a month.

Bake covered at 350 for at least 30 min and then 10 min uncovered.

Add a loaf of bread, spread butter with garlic and heat 3-5 minutes uncovered at 250 degrees. And don't forget the salad.
