I am looking for a pasta sauce recipe to go with sausage.?

I want to make a pasta dish using hot buffalo sausages that my mother bought. I am not sure of a good recipe to go with it, however.

I'd prefer if it was a red sauce and was thinking maybe something a little bit sweet to counteract the spicyness in the sausage.

So does anyone have any good recipes they'd like to share?I am looking for a pasta sauce recipe to go with sausage.?
Marinara Sauce would be perfect

Serves 6

1/4 cup of olive oil

4 cloves of garlic sliced in half

1 35oz can of imported Italian tomatoes

3 basil leaves, washed, patted dry and chopped

1/2 teaspoon of oregano

salt %26amp; pepper to taste

1. Place garlic and olive oil in large sauce pan.

2. Turn heat to medium and cook until garlic is soft and lightly browned.

3. Crush the tomatoes and add with their juices.

4. Add basil, oregano, salt and pepper.

5. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer and cook until thickened approximately 20 to 25 minutes.I am looking for a pasta sauce recipe to go with sausage.?
easiest recipe i know for a great pasta sauce

1 jar store bought maranara

some sausage

one bell pepper

one onion (or half depending on taste)

a can of diced tomatoes

put the marinara sauce in pot twice the size that it fits in on medium heat on a back burner

brown the sausage in a skillet and remove....use the rendered fat to sautee the diced pepper and onion with a healthy dose of garlic. add the sausage back in to bring bsck to temperature....and drain off excess fat....add can of tomatoes and stir until hot. add the whole skillet to the sauce and let it all simmer while you make the noodles. by the time the pasta noodles are done you have a great sauce that was easy to make.

the sauce can be thick, and i find depending on the size of the pepper and onion that i sometimes need to add marinara or tomato sauce to it to thin it out some, but that's a matter of taste.
Do everything Jane says but do not blend the tomato - use canned chunky tomato and do not blend.

a pinch of sugar can be used but if the sausage is hot you won't be able to hide it. Us less hot sausage. You may want to add some (a half teas spoon) of ground cumin for a serious tasting sauce.
Try a sweet %26amp; sour sauce that will compliment the spiciness

1 large onion, chopped fine

1 can of peeled tomatoes

1 can of pineapple chunks

a small bunch of cilantro chopped fine

seasoning of salt.

Add a tablespoon of olive oil. saute the onions till transparent, add the can of tomatoes, add the pineapple chunks, and salt, keep stirring till the water of the tomatoes has evaporated, add a few tablespoons of the pineapple liquid and a teaspoon of either sugar or sugar substitute. Add the sausages now . let them seep in the liquid -taste this if its to your liking its fine , add the cilantro and switch off the stove. Add either sugar or salt as per taste.
