What is nice is that you can pair this Alfredo Sauce with a lot of ingredients:

Sliced Sausages

Crispy Bacon Bits

Cooked crab chunks -or- imitation crabmeat

Cooked shrimp

Cheese chunks

Veggies - small, baby-sized pieces of cooked carrots, broccoli, etc.

Etc, etc, etc.

You can use this Alfredo Sauce with a lot of different ingreadients, making it a very versatile pasta sauce that kids and grownups like.
1 cup white wine

1 c heavy cream

1 shallot, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbs parmesan cheese

1/2 lemon

dash tabasco

to taste salt and pepper

parsley

reduce the wine by half in sauce pan. add garlic, shallots, and cream. reduce by 3/4 or til saucy. add parmesan cheese tabasco, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and herbs. adjust seasonings til your liking. To add a nice velvety mouth feel and a little more flavor, add a tbs of butter . Toss with pasta of your choice and top with sauteed shrimp or grilled chicken. Maybe garnish with a little more parmesan cheese and/or tomatoes.
