I need a quick tasty pasta recipe?

my mom used to make some spaghetti and put some sort of a olive oil pesto/garlic type dressing on it......my problem is she doesn't remember it, so does anyone know of a quick dish like the one i've described??? i thought of putting some garlic and olive oil on the noodles and then adding some parmegaen cheese....does that sound good??I need a quick tasty pasta recipe?
Put fresh basil leaves, garlic cloves, good freshly grated parmesan cheese and pine nuts (if you have them) along with a little salt and pepper in your food processor. With it running, drizzle in olive oil until it is pesto consistency. Before you drain your pasta, ladle out some of the pasta water into the pesto, then add all of it to the drained pasta and toss it together. Yum!

You know what else is delicious? I have roasted garlic oil and I just drizzle it over hot pasta with lump crabmeat and chopped jalapeno peppers. I don't add cheese, though, because of the crab...just a few healthy grinds of black pepper.I need a quick tasty pasta recipe?
Try this:

Start with a cube of unsalted butter. Melt it in a pan on low heat. While it melts, press 3 large garlic cloves. When butter is melted, add the pressed garlic-turn heat up to med-low. cook the butter and garlic stirring constantly until the garlic shows just a touch of brown. Strain the garlic from the butter and discard garlic. You now have garlic butter to add to any pasta you boil. Drain cooked pasta. Add the garlic butter and toss. Add some parmesan cheese. Taste it. Season with kosher salt to your liking and toss again. I like pasta with spinach, tomato added to the semolina flour to form rottinni pasta for this dish. MMM!!!

try making pasta with eggplant!
You can get many recipes on line for homemade pesto..basil, pine-nuts, olive oil and parm. cheese blended together or as other posters said...a jar of a good name brand pesto sauce. Put it in a pan and heat thru...add 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Blend well. Add grated parm. cheese to this. Serve over fettuccine pasta. You can saute shrimp, scallops or chicken for a meat/seafood dish. But meatless is classic.
