Cool under running water and add ranch dressing, chopped crisp bacon or bacon bits and chopped green onion for a simple and delicious pasta salad.

I also throw a handful of frozen peas in with the pasta the last 5 minutes it is cooking if I have them.

pasta

diced tomato

black olive(optional)

basil leaves

Sun dried tomato

Olive oil

Parmesan Cheese

Mix it all up. It taste good cold or hot
italian dressing

black or green olives or both

small cubes of cheese, preferably feta or mozzarella

garbanzo beans or pinto beans (drained and rinsed)

i do the above and add artichoke hearts too. but you could

add carrots, onions, or anything else you can think of.
I have the best one ever. I made it up myself.

It's called PepperJack Mac

Preheat your oven to 400

You start off with some large elbow macaroni. Cook however much you think you will need. (probably a pound of dried noodles)

You take 4 cups of milk and get it started heating on the stove. You won't be boiling it so don't worry. Add about 2 pounds of pepperjjack cheese (cut into 1/2 inch cubes) to the milk and start stirring. This is the cheese sauce for the noodles. It's ready when all of the cheese is absorbed into the milk.

If you want to add something cool to it, add some ham cut into 1/4 inch cubes. I use about a pound of cubed ham for this size batch.

Pour the cheese sauce over the noodles and stir it in. Hopefully it will be a bit more sauce than you need.

Put the cheese and sauce into a baking dish.

Now, sprinkle parmesan cheese over the whole dish.

Bake in the oven for about 25-35 minutes till the parmesian cheese starts to brown a little. Cover it wish foil and take it to the BBQ.

It's great hot or at room temperature.

BTW, this is also excellent for a buffet.
there are some easy pasta recipes on this link. hope this helps.
