I am making dinner for the first time for my boyfriend and I was wondering if you know any good recipes for chicken bowtie pasta.
Also, what drink/dessert would be good?
Thank you!!!!Do you know a good chicken bowtie pasta recipe?
Cook some boneless skinless chicken breasts in a large skillet with a little oil about 4 minutes per side on medium heat. Add one chopped onion, cook briefly and add 1 cup of chicken broth. Cook about 3 minutes then add one jar of spaghetti sauce. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer until chicken is done, approximately 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook some farfells (bow ties) following directions on the box. Drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta.
Here's another version that involves breading the chicken first- http://creativelittledaisy.typepad.com/c鈥?/a>Do you know a good chicken bowtie pasta recipe?
This one's great, it's from Campbell's Soup~you can sub out the noodles for bow tie pasta if you'd like:
Hearty Chicken %26amp; Noodle Casserole
From: Campbell's Kitchen
Prep: 15 minutes
Bake: 25 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's庐 Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/4 of a 12-ounce package medium egg noodles (about 2 cups), cooked and drained
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions:
Heat the oven to 400掳F. Stir the soup, milk, vegetables, chicken, noodles, Parmesan cheese and black pepper in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the chicken mixture. Top with the cheese.
Tip: Easy casseroles like this one are a simple way to transform leftovers. Cooked chicken, turkey or ham will all work in this recipe.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with a steamed vegetable blend: broccoli, cauliflower and carrots and a Caesar salad. For dessert serve fresh strawberries topped with whipped topping.
Enjoy!!!
